MONA CARON - ARTIVIST
Mona Caron does paintings of weeds. Of those common invasive plants and flowers that just won't give up. Except she paints them 30 stories tall. These marvelous wonders, made large and respectable.

HOW TO BUILD A PAINTING
Draw out ideas. Like writing, the thought takes form in this 3-D world.
Then the hammering out the actual form needs editing and explorations. Each object becomes a teacher. Chasing information to make an image in the world.
Starting with thin watery paint, experiments with color are so very fun. Like musical notes of high and low.
This is a fairy tale and absolutely real, inside and out.
