2025 DANCING WITH CANCER/SELF PORTRAIT

This is painted on a piece of double-A plywood, 3/4 of an inch thick. (h)27” x (w)19¼ . Painting on wood is so very different than painting on canvas. The springiness of canvas has so much more forgiveness. Even paper feels softer than this wood.

BEES

I do love bees. I have used "apitherapy" for my ailments and those wonderful creatures share their version of cortisone. I did some pen and ink tiny artworks. Watercolor, too. They are losing populations and we need them. Fertilize our plants. Landscape and food.

TIMES SQUARE BILLBOARD!!

I was honored with about (20 other women artists) by Ceres Gallery on June 14, 2025 with a photograph of me on an electronic billboard!! Fifteen seconds in every hour. It was at 47 minutes after the hour for 24 hours!! How Fun!! It was in honor of the exhibit titled RAISING WOMEN'S VOICES. The exhibit is still up but the billboard is done. What a world!! This is the painting that is in the exhibit.
